How we test AI agents before they touch customer data

Agents that take actions need more than a good prompt. This is the evaluation and release process every LogicGridLab agent goes through.

An agent that drafts text can be wrong and still be useful. An agent that updates records, sends messages or moves money cannot. That is why every agent we ship passes the same four gates.

Gate 1: a scenario suite

We write scenarios from real historical cases, including the messy ones. Each scenario defines the expected action, not just the expected text.

Gate 2: tool permissions

Every tool the agent can call has the narrowest possible scope. Read and write access are separate, and destructive actions always require a human approval step.

Gate 3: shadow mode

The agent runs on live data and proposes actions without executing them. We compare its decisions with what your team actually did and review every disagreement.

Gate 4: staged rollout

We start with the cases where the agent was right every time in shadow mode and expand only when the numbers hold. Every action is logged with the reasoning behind it.

It takes a few extra weeks. It is also why we can switch automation on with confidence.
